BCD Energy can design and install domestic Photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 6kw (current cap on single phase grid connection).

Commercial/Industrial systems can be designed and installed up to hundreds of kw for use in offices, schools, factories, supermarkets, shopping centres, large farms, sports stadia etc.

All BCD Energy Photovoltaic panels and inverters are manufactured in Germany.

Photovoltaics are best suited to the southern half of Ireland (particularly in Munster and South Leinster).  This is because of the high amount of sunlight hours (on average 1,700 hours of sunshine a year) and our low temperature which increases the output of the system.  We can install systems on roofs or if adequate space allows they can be installed on frames at ground level.
